Dear Ellen, it's been a while and this is in American measurements :-(  2
1/2 x baby's weight (lb & oz) = total oz needed per day divided by number of
feedings in a day.  So 8 lb baby needs a minimum of 20 oz per day to
maintain and a bit more to grow, so maybe 8 - 3 oz bottles.   I don't know
how that computes in kg and cc.  Hope you are better at math than me.
