"Mom developed a mass in the righ=
t=20
breast which was ultimately diagnosed as a galactocele. 15 days ago, this=

was drained, and she was told to wean. Not an option for her."

My experience with large galactoceles if they persistently refill is to wean that
breast. I cared for a mother a year ago that had a "Huge" galactocele that
was drained repeatedly for avg. 15oz every few days even though she
pumped to empty it. For this particular mother, the involution phase was
extremely long and painful. A challenging situation for sure!
