I've seen it before the Vit D mandate for babies.
Mom restricted her diet to "rare foods" for her, no red meats, no dairy,
nothing helped.
MDs were threatening hospitalization for transfusion until Nutramigen
stopped the blood.
She was pumping to protect her supply, but was not willing (or 'allowed' by
MDs?) to bottle feed her EBM.
Eventual conclusion: mom weaned because her milk 'caused' the bloody stools
and Nutramigen stopped (cured?) it.
Frustrating.
