It is difficult to translate in to English, I think the best translation in this context is 'the
usual'. But is also is 'simply', as in easy. Nursing is portrayed as a difficult, menial task
for the mother. (she is the only one who can do it, she will be confound to the house,
have zillions of nipple/breastproblems, etc.).

Never, it always is 'Ik geef gewoon de fles', which is different than flesvoeding. (I just
give the bottle, as opposed to formula). They never mention what is in that bottle, in
Dutch it is the way of administring that is discussed: I give my baby a botlle / I give my
baby the breast. NEver do I hear 'I give formula' or 'I give breastmilk'. Well, only mothers
who give expressed breastmilk by bottle will be more specific....
