Greetings... I, too, have been contacted by the company rep and have
been given a sample of the new hydrogel discs which the rep reports can
be worn for 3-5 days.  Explicit instructions came with the sample.
Coincidentally, I'm working with a Mom whose nipples are very sore and
bleeding from early poor latch.  I asked her if she'd like to try out a
new product for me.  She's been using them for several days and has
found them very helpful and soothing.  She'd been pumping for 24 hours
and the next day was able to comfortably latch baby (correctly) with
minimal discomfort.  She is especially grateful for the cool, protection
the discs offer under her nursing bra.  My reservation   is that they
seem to be fairly expensive!
