A recurrent nipple blister is likely due to a staph aureus or staph 
epidermitis infection. The blister should be unroofed and cultured by 
her physician, and she should be treated with antibiotics that cover a 
staph infection. She should remain on the antibiotics until the blister 
does not reoccur for at least 2 weeks, and all of her breast pain and 
tenderness are gone.
