While I was pleased to read of this caution, I was disappointed that the
article's only suggested solution was the use of calorically dense formula
instead. They pointed out the problems of trying to thicken human milk, then
left it at that. There were references to "other things we can do to avoid
GER," but those other things were not specified, leaving the impression that
the modified formula might be the best new alternative. One step forwards,
one step back?
