Well, I'll admit out loud that when I first saw the word "translacation" I
didn't have a clue what it meant, either.  At first I thought it might be a
fancy-pants way to describe cross-nursing (the former fancy-pants term for
wet nursing).

So I *did* go on to read the JHL article.  At at the end I said to myself,
"Why don't they just call it 'tube-feeding at breast'?"  But every
profession has buzz-words it wants to try out; lactation is no different
(think of  the brouhaha over "breast feeding" vs. "breast-feeding" vs.
"breastfeeding").

This reminds me, too, that I can never be complacent about this work we do.
If I need a glossary after being in the field 12 years, then certainly I am
not "done learning."
