ohmigawd! here i am about to disagree with dr. jack, when i have been teaching
breast compression to just about everybody with breasts that i can get my
hands on lately!

don't encourage this mother to self-medicate with ibuprofen, because long term
use of high doses should be accompanied with regular testing to make sure
there is no impairment of functioning of other systems. i can't recall if it
is kidney or liver or both. it must be selective memory functioning since my
arthritis went into remission. but this mother needs to find a more supportive
hcp. and to tell the one she is leaving the reason WHY. also, her insurance
company if applicable.
