I just finished rereading Diane Wiessinger's very articulate editorial in the March 1996 JHL. It is absolutely wonderful, articulate, and very thought-provoking. In the last few months I changed the focus of my prenatal BF classes from the advantages of BF to the risks of formula. We have had such interesting discussions in the classes about why no one lets women know about this information and about marketing techniques of big business. Definitely a proactive approach and well-received. From recent posts about dads and bonding I will add a brainstorming segment about dads can do that doesn't include feeding. I have enjoyed both sides of the current issues and have to say I am never bored with Lactnet!
