I will do a literature search as soon as I get a chance but would think that the mother should continue breastfeeding, paying careful attention to hand washing with soap and water (not alcohol-based sanitizer). 

I would also imagine that this is a case where vanc would be the first line abx of choice, as it has no oral bioavailability.
