Judy K--you have stirred a lingering fear of the future I have been harboring.
(Meds have 'protected' us from dangerous vaginal birth by doing C-Sections)  You
asked what happens when things start going wrong in a big way w/c-sec's &
lawsuits occur?  Test-tube babies!  Automated mass-production.  Not just for
conception, but for the entire gestation.  Can't you see it now?  "Why would you
want to do THAT?  Destroy your figure, interrput your career, be forced to Eat
Healthy--it's all so GROSS!  Let the PROFESSIONALS do it!"  Then they present
you with your 'new born' after 9 mos.  No labor, no stretched tissues or
episiotomies, no stress of birth on the baby, no misshapen head, no foreceps, no
suction,  etc, etc.  Then you can really have a lifestyle where you "shine'em
up, show'em off, & give'em to the sitter t/be bottle fed"....
Wake up now!  Nightmare's OVER!!  This can never happen...Right?? RIGHT??
