My husband, yes my husband just found out he is allergic to Silicone as he is
an above the knee amputee and his new prosthesis has a really cool socket made
out of mostly silicone...Sounds like that might be your patient's
problem...His stump had lesions and blisters on it after one day of wearing
the thing! I imagine if you add to the allergy, pumping, the irritation is
probably much worse! I hope she can pump with the glass flanges!
