Anecdotal Case-  I had a mom who's baby stayed in the hospital a week after
birth.  Mother was expressing BM for night feedings.  To make a long horror
story short, her baby received someone else's EBM.  Mother fought for 3 days
to have milk tested, 3 labs showed that her baby had received milk tainted
with Hepatis C.  Mother was never cautioned to not breastfeed, they just
tested baby periodically for a year.  It was a nightmare for this family,
but no one came up with the disease.
