I received a call today from a gravida 2 para 1 due any day now.  She has
experienced bleeding from both nipples on a few occasions and is concerned
about nursing and or the possibility of breast cancer.  Two weeks ago she had
an ultrasound in which they found several cysts in both breasts.  Both her OB
and a surgeon feel she should not breastfeed.  She was adopted and therefor
has no family medical history of breast cancer.  She is looking for advice and
information to help with her decision.  I am aware of rusty milk syndrome but,
does anyone have words of wisdom I can pass on to her ?
