It's not up to the doctor to say yes or no. The doctor gives information and
the patient decides, on the basis of that information, whether s/he will
follow that advice.

Now, why would lupus and TTP with a platelet count of 40,000 be a
contraindication to breastfeeding?  Please give hints, oh wise doctors, who
*always* say breastfeeding is contraindicated.
