Dear Toby, Pearl, Elisa, Lisa, Patricia and all,

I am wondering if there isn't some connection between all of these and
the epidurals. If the drug depresses pain and depresses sucking and
rooting reflex, would it not also be possible that it is depressing
intestinal motility in these infants to a some extent?

BTW, I've discovered one more reason to love Lactnet.  Nowadays, when I
could swear there is a new "diseases of the month" going around the
infant population in my little town, it is comforting to know the extent
of the "epidemic"!
