Yes - culture is not an accurate word. I think ideology is not quite
the right one, either....it's actually a plain old-fashioned bit of
capitalism/ imperialism, an economic imperative. The ideology comes
as a justification for the money-making.

This is also linked to the research that pops up from time to time,
saying how poisonous mother's milk is because of pollution - the
latest showing is in yesterday's UK Sunday Times

It is from the Netherlands, and based on a sample of 207 babies, half
of whom were formula fed and half of whom were bf - definitions of
those terms were not given. The babies who were bf had higher levels
of PCBs in their bodies.
