Karleen,

My son just turned 1 and I ended up with excess milk in the freezer because he was a reverse cycler and I worked part-time. When we were together, on my days off, I did not pump. When I was at work, I pumped more than he would take from the bottle. He would only take maybe 3 oz the whole day I was gone. So when I pumped at work, it was not so much to provide milk while I was gone, but mainly to maintain my supply for him so that he could have as much milk as he wanted/needed when we were together. Hope this helps!
