>Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I have posted about this before, it's helped both myself and many clients of
mine, as well as their children and families. Rescue Remedy. It is a God
send in our house when folks are on edge. I used a bit of it in labor and
it seemed to help in that case too. It's great because it comes in a small
enough bottle that it can be carried around in the pocket and used whenever
needed. I would also suggest that this mom take the baby to bed, then she
won't have to wake up completely to nurse, she just needs to roll over. I
know that co-sleeping is daunting to some new parents but once they sleep
with their baby just a few times they will never want to be without that
warm little bundle next to them! I would spend all day there if I could!
lol.
