domperidone and blood loss

  I have a mom who needed a 4 hour DNC after birth and lost a lot of
blood.  Her milk supply has been slow to come in fully.  She has started on
herbs and is working on her diet, but is asking me about Domperidone.
Wondering if it is effective after heavy blood loss?  anyone have any
experience with this?
