I'd have mother keep a cottonball soaked in extra virgin olive oil over the
bleb. Change often. Also try nursing baby with breast hanging free. Place
baby on the floor or center of big bed and have mother come over baby on
hands and knees.  Not the most comfortable position, but mother can come at
baby from numerous angles and perhaps do a better job of draining that
breast once in awhile.
