Depending on the mom's academic level she could just skip the whole darn
mess and go on to Community College (cheaper) or University. The community
colleges in our area regularly take 15 and 16 yr old homeschool students
which she could easily become. Or when I was a senior in high school I took
one class at the high school and got duel credit to graduate with a full
time schedule at the local University (this followed 2 yrs of night classes
at a community college my sophomore and junior year).

Or perhaps her state has a virtual public school program?
