Jan, I'm so sorry that you and your daughter are going through this.  It
does just figure, doesn't it?!  My last daughter, #4 breastfeeding
experience, born when I had been a LLLL for several years, was my
biggest breastfeeding challenge!  You mentioned that your daughter has
no history of thyroid problems, but many times this is discovered/begins
in the postpartum period.  I didn't see that you said her thyroid had
been checked, so I'd add that to the list of tests, if not.  Also, since
there was never a real surge of milk at Lactogenesis II, I tend to think
it's not the baby's frenulum that was the original problem in the milk
supply issue.  It certainly does sound hormonal on mom's part.  That's
what I'd be looking into.  The goat's rue might help and Domperidone
would be the route I'd want to go.
