Dear Ann,
Sorry if I am stating the obvious but what about mothers diet?  I know babies
who would spit up on artichoke hearts, cabbage and my own would not tolerate
orange juice or coffee (I know should not have been drinking it anyway! :)
With the mucous problem I would also look at dairy allergy, a 4 y/o boy very
close to my heart and breast could not take any in my diet and later his own.
 Only now is beginning to be able to consume a bit of yogurt.
