RE: long history of breast pain

Its hard to say if this pain is thrush or not. Thrush in the breast is not
always sharp, radiating, shooting, etc; sometimes it is just a constant ache
/ awareness of breasts. She does have the sensitive nipples, which didn't
respond to cortisone - so dermatitis / eczema seems unlikely.
The treatment she's had for thrush seems to have been short term and only
topical (no oral medications?). I would be continuing topical treatment for
nipples and oral treatment for infant, but adding nystatin or fluconzole
orally.
It is tragic she can't get medical help because of financial
reasons......(but we'd better not get off onto a political debate again, had
we?)

RE: fluconazole causing skin rash
The information from Pfizer say 1.8% patients in clinical trials developed
rash. So not very common, but a problem if you're in that small percent that
do get a rash.

RE: blue around the mouth signifying thrush
Sounds unlikely IMHO.
