there are a number of things that can cause bloody stools... we are
blessed witha couple of excellent pediatric gatroenterologists on this list
and hopefully they will fill in but until they do....

        a) bovine protien which is probably a good place to start takes 4
weeks to fully clear.

        b) this baby should be seen by a breastfeeding friendly pediatric
gastroenterologist.

         c) there are a number of benign things that can clasue bleeding,
some they can look for and some they can only speculate about.

       - some are similiar to intraductal papalonmas in that we know this
happens and mom sees blood but it would be difficult to look inside and see
one.. and questionable if one wants to put ones child though t his
procedure...

      BUT...

start with NO DAIRY hidden or otherwise for 4 weeks and find a good ped
gi while do so.

other than the bleeding how is baby doing?
