  I do not have a reference for weaning as I have not done any research into
this one BUT I can tell you that now that I have studied some of the
lymphatic system I can certianly try to explain why binding is WRONG>

  first one must understand the purpose of the lymphatic system... (short
version) it absorbs excess fluid, cleanses tisssue and removes waste. now
look at a diagram of thelyphatic system and you will see that the anterior
axillary nodes wil be bound with the breast...   this then will prevent the
lymphatic system from functioning as it is meant to...
