Chris posted today on a mother still leaking profusely five months after
having her baby.

This woman is a classic example of the insufficient baby syndrome. She
obviously should have had higher-order multiples and there has been a
mistake somewhere. She should subpoena her hospital record for the 24 hours
on either side of the birth, as it is never too late to think about
lawsuits!

Seriously, I support your concerns about endocrine pathology, Chris. This
should be ruled out, IMO, if for no other reason than to clarify things.

I would also be hesitant about shields because with such abundant supply,
would she not be at higher risk for mastitis if milk removal is hampered?
Also, you mentioned baby having symptoms of colic, and shields would hardly
increase his comfort: more air to swallow and less 'cream'?

But I really don't have a clue. Keep us posted on this one, OK?
