Leanne,
I have my upset moments too, but I have to point out that the focus groups
on which the ad campaign was based found that women weren't interested in
hearing from celebrities. They said, "Well, of course, SHE can
breastfeed---she probably has a nanny!" They wanted to hear the message from
someone like themselves.

Admittedly, the TV ads didn't show a "spokesmom" like themselves... However,
there was a "radio tour" directed at African-American stations in which
Michael Jordan's mother was interviewed. She is a big breastfeeding booster,
and Michael nursed for years. Lots of people heard those shows.

Cheers,
Chris
