Hello,

I am glad to see more written about this, however, I am not sure I like the terminology either....Ouch.

I would rather be told I have "insufficient" something than "dysfunction" or "failure". To me the later means "no hope" , but insufficient means it is not all there, but we are going to use what we have.

I understand when you state that not all issues are IGT. But to me, women already have enough labels put on them...inverted, ginormous, inverted, gumdrop, etc. etc. I get very upset when entering a room and a woman tells me that in dealing with staff she was given a label....because when we are given a label, that is what we achieve....not our full potential.

Perhaps I am being "Polly anna" in this thinking, but that is my thoughts....which you asked for. :)
