Dear Ann,
     The response from the OB doc sounds like a territorial thing on her
part.  I'm sorry you got the brunt of her anger.  You'll get lots better
ideas from this list than mine, but I'll give it a shot.  If/when you
talk to her again be polite and say something like a pediatrician from
Canada, Dr. Newman, who works a lot with breastfeeding gets good results
from the APNO and it is commonly used around the US and Canada (and the
whole world too? ) for lactation pts. with problems.  You didn't realize
it would be contraversial when you suggested it.
     By the way, I love your answer about observing and recommending, not
diagnosing.

       PS   Argh!    Does everybody but this one doc need to work in
