In an effort to learn the Spanish language of lactation, I subscribe to
LLLI's NUEVO COMIENZO.  Sometimes they reprint articles from NEW BEGINNINGS.
I read the Spanish, then the English, and the Spanish again -- repeating that
cycle until I get it.

 to the needs of an LC.  Even the Spanish (or other languages) for
 Health Professionals courses don't really fit us.  There is some
 overlap, but an LC can get along just fine without knowing how to
 ask about a prostrate or other male concerns.  Knowing how to teach a
 Hispanic patient how to care for a colostomy is beyond our needs.
 However, I suspect there aren't many lessons that go into much
 detail about nipples, latch, MERs etc. >>
