Isn't there some sort of data out there about MOTHERS acquiring AIDS
from babies (ie in Russia?). I'm fuzzy on the details. But that
would be a fear of mine: that if I got cracked nipples, baby maybe
had bleeding gums or whatever, it could end up making ME HIV+. If I
were going to nurse both babies I'd probably assign them each their
own side, at least that way they wouldn't ever touch the other one's
side, but then I suppose as they grow they may mouth toys together.
The thought that it could be transmitted via saliva purely is not a
worry...I konw it can't be. It's more the "open sores" idea (both
have canker sores, are cutting teeth...does that make babies bleed
ever? etc.) that woudl worry me personally.

How about just pumping for the baby with AIDS?
