Selling soon-to-be moms nursing bras with the premise that
they can produce adequate breastmilk, I was under the
impression that milk production and supply is somewhat
tied in to % of body fat and where the fat is stored.

Way back then I read somewhere that it is even our trunks
that hold the necessary fluid to enable the breasts
to draw upon.  When I weaned my now 25 year old from
her one am feeding and had a period, it was commented on
that I had shrunk.  It was not just the breasts.
