Could someone please give me the e-mail address for IBCLE?

I have many breastfeeding in public stories.  I was is the mall shopping and
went to the bathroom (not to nurse!)  As I was walking out I saw a woman
sitting in the stall across from mine with the door open, nursing her baby
and crying.  I asked if she was okay and she said some woman told her she was
disgusting (for nursing).  I told her she didn’t have to hid and how she
should be proud etc.  She asked if I nursed and I said of course doesn’t
every body?  She laughed and asked if I would sit with her a while.  We sat
together and nursed on a bench.  I told her some tips I had learned and she
needed to be confident.  I also told her keep her eyes open for that lady and
I would squirt her when she walked by (just joking of course...well maybe!)
 She laughed for the first time and seemed to relax.  She and I still keep in
touch and she has helped many moms because of that one day.  She is also
planning to sit for the exam when she has enough hours.  We all can effect so
many if we just take the time.  When I am IBCLC I will mentor for free
because it may be time consuming but it’s so important.  We need all the Pro
Breast people we can get and we all have something wonderful to offer.
On another occasion (a superbowl party) I was nursing my son and my husbands
very good friends wife said “how can you do that?  It’s so gross, go to the
bathroom at least!”   The room got so quite and a friend looked at her and
said “oh no you shouldn’t have said that”.  It was as if everyone was
expecting me to turn green - rip out of my clothes and start breaking
furniture!  I asked her if she ate while in the bathroom and she said “no
that’s nasty” I then said so why should my baby eat in the bathroom because
you are uncomfortable with your own sexuality?  Then the guys said “she’s got
you there”.  Then they all started asking questions about breastfeeding at
half-time.  The ignorant woman left the party.  I try to educate where ever I
can.  I don’t charge for admission although at times I have been told I
should!  I love to help and let people know how important breastfeeding
really is.  My hope is if I as one person can get to as many people as
possible then that will be one less ignorant person to bother a new
breastfeeding mom.
