One of our OBS told me this story that he heard on a PBS show:
        Long ago, Hercules' mother was nursing him.  For some reason,
Hercules was excited or distracted (as we all may remember happening and,
with his extrodinary stregnth bit off his mother's nipple which resulted in
the spraying of her milk all over the heavens.  This became known as the
Milky Way.
        Awful story, huh?
