Hi All,
I am again posting about the now 5 month old who is still not able to tolerate his moms' milk in any form, fresh ( pumped or direct), and frozen. He gets diarrhea and is absolutely miserable. Just to refresh, this baby's gut was wiped out from antibiotics about 6 weeks ago. Since then it has been a real struggle for mom and baby. I referred her to the probiotics web sites i was given here . Mom actually talked to a person from the company who was quite discouraging about her baby ever being able to tolerate her milk. She actually used the word "never". I'm not particularly fond of that word until I've exhausted all possible avenues. This mom breastfed all 4 of her other children until beyond 2. This is quite an upsetting experience for her and for her emotional sake and her baby's health, I'd like to get all I can for her. She has worked on dietary elimination already with dairy, eggs and wheat. The baby had alumentum at first and now is on soy with no problems. Thanks for your help
