How about clonazepam (Klonipin)?  Our local psychiatrists say this has the
shortest half-life and are using it preferentially in acute post-partum
depression
with anxiety or psychosis, as well as various panic-disorder type situations.
(And isn't iot nice that they encourage these ladies to continue to BF!)
