Hello all,
I haven't posted for a long time, but I've been with you all the time,
hardly missed a day. I have been very busy, mostly with breastfeeding
matters, so had no time to post.
I have lately attended a lecture about reflux, and asthma was mentioned as
one of the important outcomes of reflux at all ages, even as something to
think about in persistant asthma which doesn't respond to standart
treatment. Sometimes there are no signs of reflux, and it is detected by ph
monitoring of the esophagus. There is somekind of reflex that causes
constriction of the airways when acid enters the esophagus, even when there
is no aspiration.
