Press Release from Texas Children's Hospital: HOUSTON (Saturday, Jan. 9,
1999)12 noon USA CST -- The Chukwu octuplets remain in critical but stable
condition at Texas Children's Hospital's neonatal intensive care unit, where
Chidi is still not taking breast milk due to her
receiving antibiotics to deal with a possible infection. Ebuka and Chimi were
also taken off of breast milk for one day to aid in nutrition digestion.

Doctors also announced that Gorom tolerated a minute amount of breast milk
for the first time Friday, supplementing her regular intravenous feedings.
