I recently attended a conference on "Long-acting Hormonal Contraceptives"
(sponsored by Wyeth, of course).  One of the presenters said DepoProvera or
Norplant could be prescribed right after delivery in women choosing one of
these methods because "progestin only contraceptives actually increase milk
supply."  I haven't seen convincing numbers, and I am still reluctant to give
either one until 6 weeks postpartum........
