This is a particularly nasty sort of cancer, and incurable as far as I am
aware, caused by exposure to asbestos.
My grandfather died from this and I now question how much of the treatment
was for the sake of doing something and how much actually helped (and even
whether the treatment reduced his lifespan by decreasing his strength).
Questioning whether there is any benefit to the treatment (and I'm
completely ignorant of the treatment mentioned) may be appropriate.
I really feel for this lady. It is a truly awful disease.
