The Pumpmate did have IBCLC's review this product. I was among several of
them asked to review the product. Several of us were a focus group. They
asked us what we thought of their marketing; the flier that they sent.
Dr. Sears is promoting the product. We also used the product.
Personally, I found it hard to use. The bag tore when I tried to get the
lid on. When I turned the bag upside down, the lid came off and water
went everywhere. Perhaps it shouldn't be turned upside down unless it is
frozen. We all gave our opinion on the product. I told the company when
I have pumped in the past, time was of the essence and loosing milk would
really ruin my day! Again, I found it difficult and too time consumming.
They also had a focus group of Moms use it. I did not see or hear the
results of the moms group. According to the company rep., they really
loved it. The company who manufactures these products also make the
generic playtex bags.
