What evidence does ped have that this is a necessary practice? :-)  Pat in 
SNJ
Just reposting this to see if anyone has any insights.  I'm wondering
what breastfeeding moms who give their 4month olds the AAP recommended
iron drops do?  Are they instructed to withhold breastfeeding for four
hours by their peds?
