I don't think there is anything she can do to make the taste go away, but her baby may still drink it. If the baby wont drink it she can use it to make other foods when the baby starts solids. I made cheese sauce once with frozen breastmilk and it tasted fine, my milk didn't taste great out of the freezer either.

We know that in the future she must bring her freshly expressed milk to a simmer prior to storage, but what about all of the milk she wants to thaw?
