A few years back I attended a conference session on how to give
in-service presentations --sorry I cannot remember who gave it (Linda
Smith? Jan Barger?). The presenter kept a bag of candies in her pockets
while teaching groups of health care providers, and threw out candy to
anyone who correctly answered a question. It was a hoot during our
session, and her tales of physicians energetically competing to "win" a
candy inspired me :o)  The message, of course, is as Dr. Gordon
underlined: hcps (physicians included) are people, too!
