I'm currently putting 3T of rice cereal in each of my DD's 6oz formula
bottles, per the pediatrician, for reflux. Previously, when she would spit up,
not only would it come out of her mouth and nose, it would also come out of the
inside corners of her eyes.

She's already on Zantac 1.0ml, 2x/day.

In an effort to avoid more invasive tests, we tried this. So far, she is
spitting up much less frequently, and with less pressure. I can also tell that
it's not coming up into her esophagus as often, as she's quit choking on it
like she used to. She also used to have frequent episodes of stopping
breathing, now she only does this about once a day.

Is the problem solved? No. This is a temporary measure to help the food
stay down longer, and make her more comfortable.

Just to add some perspective to this question. :-)

Sincerely,
