 We are doing cabbage

Have you tried ibuprophen?  I find that cabbage, cold compresses, and
ibuprophen are a good combination, especailly the cabbage/ibuprophen duo.
I "suggest" 600mg loading dose and 400mg every 4 hours until the
engorgement is resolved.

I also suggest some thorough pumping along with the above.
