Subject: Looking for Study

The study I believe was done in California and involved
training doulas to put babies skin to skin at birth.

Hi Karen,

You might try Perinatal Network Services out of Loma Linda UMC in Calif. They did a lot of training on skin to skin. They use the accronym, SOFT which stands for Skin to Skin, Open eye contact, Fingertip touch, and Time together. It is absolutely incredible to watch a mother and infant when basically left alone by the "medicos".
